At the beginning of October, Leeds has Light Night. The council gives small grants to around 100 artists and venues across the city to produce a night of craziness.
It was an awesome night and estimates are at around 1200 people daring to venture into the Storyhunters installation. We set up in a (then) empty shop unit down under the Dark Arches, beneath Leeds Train Station.
The installation was a sound and light maze featuring a bloody corridor and tape recorders featuring our stories of the Rat Boys of Leeds.
One of our missions was to start an Urban Myth. We scattered the internet with as many tales and fables as we cold.
